It's finally time to start knitting with the color that inspired this project!

I fell in love with this green instantly! I had to knit something with it. I don’t remember when I decided it would be a good idea to knit my first cardigan, but I did — and I’m so glad! I love how it turned out.

What has it gots in it's pocketses? #knitting

The waffle stitch and the stripey pockets were just a couple small details that made this project fun to work on.

In fact, the part I had the most trouble with was getting the sleeves finished! I started with DPNs but once I switched over to the magic loop method on circular needles I just flew through those sleeves.

Zooey is a great yarn to work with, too. It did split a little at first as I got used to the fiber combo (linen and cotton), but it softens up really nicely and this cardigan is so cozy.
