I hope you all had a lovely holiday over the new year’s first weekend. Mine was very lovely. On the 31st of December I watched a coworker’s kids for a few hours—they watched Spongebob Squarepants or the Cartoon Network. The adults all came home around 11:30pm and broke out champagne and sandwich supplies. It was a lot of fun to be with a large, happy family on New Year’s Eve—it felt very warm and comfortable. Afterwards I drove by a friend’s party for a little while. However, the 1st was a big day and I got to sleep at a reasonable hour.
My parents came to Minneapolis for the holiday and I prepared my first lasagna for my mom, my dad, my sister and her fiance. My sister had prepared a lovely trifle for dessert, too! After supper we went to see “Triple Espresso” in downtown and it was great! If you ever get a chance to see the show, you definitely should.
The next morning we went for Sunday brunch at Jax’s in Northeast. Very fancy! Very mimosa!
Anyway, ideas have sprung within the last five days of 2005 and I’m trying not to fall into a real-work-all-the-time habit, but just give me some time… I will create wonders for you very soon!
