A coworker dropped off an issue of yesterday’s Star Tribune for me (for this article). The front page has a large illustration of how a couple different kinds of Minnesota’s forests regrow (current news is all about a large fire near Ham Lake).
This is notable because on Tuesday I finally showed my coworkers the game I made about forest succession (with specific reference to Minnesota forests) for the game design class I took this past semester (by the way, I got an “A” in the class).
This makes me curious about improving the game and getting it used for real somewhere! (I created it with the Bell Museum in mind, but it’s not any sort of official material… yet.)
